Passion For Life launches new concept in ear cleaning

This September, Passion For Life Healthcare is launching a new product and concept for ear cleaning to the UK market. AUDICLEAN is a safe, natural and clinically proven alternative to using cotton buds for cleaning the ear and removing earwax.

It is a well-known fact that cleaning the ears with a cotton bud, although a common practice, is not recommended and can cause long-term damage to the ear canal. In 1999, there were 7,000 cotton bud injuries resulting in hospital treatment – more than razor blade injuries.*

Quick, simple and easy-to-use AUDICLEAN can be used in the bath or shower as part of your daily hygiene routine. It works in three ways – cleans the ears safely and effectively, disperses wax plugs quickly and finally, prevents the build up of earwax.

AUDICLEAN is made from 100% Sea Serum™, an isotonic solution with no preservatives. The filtration process removes most of the sodium chloride from the water, but leaves all the beneficial minerals and trace elements such as magnesium and potassium. It has a pH balance of 8 that is adapted to the physiology of the external auditory canal.

The nozzle is specially adapted to the shape of the ear, and gently diffuses water without spraying directly on to the ear canal. Due to this there is no risk of dizziness or vertigo when using AUDICLEAN.

For ongoing ear hygiene, AUDICLEAN should be used two to three times a week, more if necessary, especially for people wearing hearing aids. It can also be used prior to appointments with GPs, paediatricians and ENT specialists.
